Generic windscreens

I pay my high premiums every month. Premiums that are raised every year, on a car that has drastically depreciated in its retail value. I claim for a cracked windscreen and they tell me that they only fit generic windscreens. That is the biggest load of ******* I have heard. How do they justify that? And I still need to pay the excess! On a generic! Really disappointed in this.
