GENERAL INSURANCE

Good day , I have taken out Discovery insure for our vehicles and house content . They have broken (15 Febr 2025)in the Honda , and ****** my son's his gym bag , running shoes, gym clothes and swimming wear was ****** . it was 7:00 on was on his way to the gym .When I wanted to submit a claim for this expensive gear , the call centre/ claims consultant indicated that I did not include "GENERAL INSURANCE " the day I took out the insurance , but i indicated that surely the consultant should/ must informed me. The consultant did inform me that they had to inform me and indicated it is mentioned . In a country general insurance is a must ... hi jakaing is a normal . The on Monday 17 Febr 2025 have taken it out after this experience and it only cost me R80 for something R50 000. The total of the loss was R14 000, . The consultant indicated that they will request the voice recording to see / hear if the consultant did offer this for me .STILL ALSO WAITING FOR THIS Why is Discovery hiding the small important stUff ? Why do they not cover this expense and add this General expense and let the client rather request to take it off . Very UNHAPPY AND DISSATIFIED DELICIA , ..... still waiting for Discovery to phone me
