Freaky Insurance Quote

<p>I am buying a new car so I contact Discovery Insure who handles my insurance and asked for a quote for my new Toyota Hilux Double Cab. I was quoted almost R7000 per month. I thought that was horrific was rather car repayment than an insurance premium. I was told that Discovery classes this vehicle as high risk. I asked them about increasing the excess payment and the monthly premium only dropeed by R100.<br /><br />I contact 3 other insurance companies and asked them for quotes. The cheapest I got was R1388pm and the most expensive I received was just under R2000. Where does Discovery come from with more than R5000 per month extra per month on insurance.</p>
