I cancelled my insurance was advised that my excess finder balance would be paid into my account and now when I enquire as to when that’ll happen I’m told that the cancellation request was not done and I have forfeited my money because the insurance is canceled. This is **************** at its best, cash back rewards that are due to me.

For every rand you accumulate , Discovery Insure matches that with a rand for a 3 year cycle.
At the end of the 3 year cycle , you have the power to withdraw at 50% of your accumulated amount.
In this instance , your 3 year cycle ends in August 2019. Your instruction to cancel the plan is effective January 31
As a result the amount will is forfeited.
