FLAWED DRIVING COMPETITION AND INCENTIVE

The idea of Discovery Insure to monitor and rate the driving of SA drivers, is very nice and commendable, but in my experience, very much flawed and not living up to the challenge they put out there.<br> 1. They apply the wrong speed limits on several roads, and according to these incorrect speed limits, apply the rating or the score for your driving. I have tried to complain about this, but after numerous attempts to get through to someone of the DQ Track department, I could only speak to someone who tried to explain to me that they will again look at my driving results, and adjust my scores if found to be faulty, but nothing further.<br> 2. They are unwilling to disclose exactly how the driving scores (and then of course the negative points) are calculated. For instance - if you break hard to prevent an accident or for any other justifiable reason, you still get penalized on your driving score, but they do not want to explain with how many points etc.<br> 3. They promise you a percentage of your fuel spending back, but the card systems is not operating properly, so they cannot determine my spending - I have to dispute it all the time.<br> I took them up on their challenge, but they fail..!!
