Fantastic support in time of need

I joined Discovery Insure in 2017 and fought like hell with them about their telematics and Vitality Drive. To their credit they eventually did give me an ear and have dealt with my concerns. I have also learnt to drive a whole lot more conservatively. Driving onto a construction site I was hit from the front on a blind corner by someone coming the other way. Telematics showed I braked hard from 18kph - so I was driving conservatively. Bonus. Within 3 minutes Msuthukazi Sue Kwatsha from Discovery phoned me because they had received an impact alert. She checked if I was OK and if anyone needed an ambulance. None required. Then she asked if my car was driveable. I wasn't. Within 5 minutes she had organised a tow truck. She then organised a hire vehicle from the closest Avis and offered to get me there. She kept phoning me every 10 or so minutes until my car was safely on the roll back and I was safe. Brilliant service and comforting to have that when you are in trouble.
