False Advertising
I have been a Discovery client for over a year now, in early November I registered (The step by step process as instructed by Discovery to receive Uber discounts) On the 9th of November 2018 registration was confirmed. For just over a week I started using Uber daily, in an effort to view my "Discovery Client rewards" my sister and I did an Uber trip comparison... NO Difference!!!! I then contacted Discovery and got through to Kgomotso, this agents Only concern was to get me off the line, all that she was able to do was tell me that it was not her responsibility to assist me!!! In her patronizing tone she insisted that I contact Uber and get my issue resolved.. her only responsibility was to explain registration to me. IF THIS IS THE CASE WHY IS DISCOVERY ADVERTISING THEIR PARTNERSHIP WITH UBER..... is it false advertising or are your staff members uneducated in your partnership handlings?? Due to her lack of interest in my issue, I requested to speak to her supervisor, Lebo Rafoma then proceeded to go down the same road, informing me of everything Discovery cannot do, signing with each and every word I spoke. Also informed me that No one has ever had this problem before, strange I noticed a post by Mohammed regarding the VERY SAME issue.
He made an effort to try and investigate further (what should have been done by Kgomotso initially) contacted me to inform me that I would receive a refund based on this alleged Discovery discount... that was on the 6th December 2018. I am still waiting for Discovery to get back to me and actually ensure some authenticity regarding their advertising!!!!
