Extremely Disappointed at Discovery Insure Roadside Assistance

To whom it may concern,

I would like to express my extreme disappointment regarding the level of service provided to me by Discovery Insurance during my time of crisis.

I had decided to use the road side assistance service offered to me by Discovery Insurance, after eight years of being a loyal member to Discovery Insurance.

I was alone with my daughter in parking lot which was clearing up at the time. I realized that the battery in my car had died and had thus requested roadside assistant from Discovery Insurance who had promised me that I would be granted assistance within 20 minutes. However, to my disappointment help arrived after 1 hour and I had to call 4 different agents to request roadside assistance as I had not received any assistance, until this point.

At this time, the parking lot was completely empty leaving only my daughter and myself in the car. Being a woman, I had feared for my safety and the safety of my daughter.

Moreover, the day before, I had requested that my location should not be disclosed to anyone. However, to my surprise, my information was disclosed in conflict with my consent.

Furthermore, a family friend had to come and help us whilst there was two towing cars which arrived simultaneously.

Based on my experience with Discovery Insurance and roadside assistance, I am not convinced that Discovery Insurance has my best interest and safety at heart. Therefore, I believe that I cannot trust Discovery roadside insurance.
