Expensive and not willing to signup a new customer

I have a Discovery Medical Aid and Discovery Bank account and thought I would try Discovery Insure for my motorcycle. I was told that I can't just hold Motorcycle insurance, but need to take out Household cover too.

The final quote worked out R1000 more than the nearest competitor which is ridiculous. On top of that, I previous got a quote that was R800 cheaper from them but now all of a sudden its R800 more and I have to take household cover.

The most disappointing part was that the consultant asked me if I am happy with the quotation, I said it's a bit outside my budget. The consultant then said okay, goodbye.

Not how can we make this work, let me see what I can do. Just goodbye...
