Excess Waiver

<p>Accident - driver crashed into rear of my vehicle.</p> <p>Discovery Excelled: The speed with which I was called to see if I was OK and whether I needed assistance at the scene of the accident.</p> <p>I felt at the beginning of the claim, the Claims Administrator was not terribly helpful. There were a few glitches along the way. I was called to take the car for an assessment after I had already taken it for an assessment. I was called by the towing company days after the car had already been booked into the panel beater. The Claims Administrator was adamant that I had to pay the excess but then Legal Recoveries contacted me to say the excess had been waived becuase I met certain criteria which was excellent news - I am not sure if this was initiated by the Claims Adminstrator. If it was then that was brilliant.</p> <p>Subsequent to the early stages of the claim, when I was a little irritated, the Claims Administrator has been great and the level of communication and handling of the claim has been good.</p> <p>All in all I am happy with the service offered by Discovery Insure.</p>
