Excess saving account
I phoned today to cancel my discovery policy, when i enquired about how the money that had been saved in the excess saving account would be refunded to me i was told that i would have to forfeit the money as i am canceliing my poilcy within the first 3years of comencement of the policy.
I really and truely can not understand this logic as when i signed up i was given the option of having the money put into the excess saving or having the money deposited straight into my account! So if i had taken the latter of the options i would have had the benifit of the cash, however because i took the savings option i must now forfeit 5k. To make it worse we pay for the \good driver\" facility. Not only am i expected to forfeit the money but i have not benifited from any of the intrest accrued on this money, which i am sure Discovery insure has.
"
