Excess and Premium increase and I've been insured for under 1 year. Told to cancel my insurance if I want to - No care given at all.

I have been with Discovery Insure for less than 1 year. I have never claimed nor have I ever skipped a payment. I have been the best customer I can possibly be. In the last 3 months my premium has increased and my excess has increased by R1000. HOW DO THEY INCREASE THE EXCESS AND PREMIUMS? I called today and I was basically told by a consultant named Charles that they are no discounts available and if I want to cancel my problem there's no problem, I must just let them know. I am a thorough Discovery customer, but this has disappointed me.
