Exceptional service!!

In a world where service is “optional” and almost nonexistent in South Africa, I am so very glad to say Discovery Insure are MY short-term insurer! They and especially Justin Dowie who assisted me gives exceptional customer service!

Some object (coming from a truck) hit me on the N1 highway near Stormvoël offramp, driving home, it was just before a heavy storm, so heavy winds. It was a very loud noise but while driving I did not see any damage and at home, I could not see any damage, only the next morning at work I saw the damage that my vehicle had, and I lodged a claim on my phone app.

From here on I just had the best experience ever, I booked my assessment for 3 November 2022 and what a positive experience I had arriving at the drive-in Centre in Menlyn! Justin Dowie was already waiting for me and started accessing the damage on my car. Professional, efficient, kind, and friendly and explained how the process will go further after the assessment was done.

He even followed up with me within 1 hour after I left, to explain that the accredited place I chose to take my car is fully booked for 2022 and suggested an alternative.

For someone who never claim, this was truly a positive experience and I am truly a happy customer and can say without any doubt that Justin Dowie is an asset, and as a proud employee of Discovery Insure, he knows how important customer service is. I can not say thank you enough!
