Emergency gone wrong
My key broke off in my ignition about two weeks ago, I work in property, which means I'm on the road a lot. I had to be in Bellville the morning when my key broke off. Phoned discovery to help me (Emergency Assist) no help at all, they wanted photographs and a whole report on what happened, I get an investigation needs to happen, but I am woman alone, stranded in a car that cannot be used, i don't get why this is not seen as an emergency?? R1500 later I paid to get my key fixed by Master keys.
Where is your insurance when you need them in an emergency? They advertise so highly about emergency assist, but cannot help you in a time of need.
Not a happy customer at all, pay so much for insurance every month but cannot make use of them?

cost of the call-out fee and one hour’s labour.
Parts,
components, keys or key-cutting costs, lubricants or
similar charges are excluded.
The following should be noted:
– If your key is broken in the ignition or car door and
the service provider is unable to resolve the problem,
additional costs, such as the dispatch of a tow truck,
will be for your account.
We note that a claim would need to be submitted with our team and the necessary validations followed in order for indemnification to be enjoyed as per below

So my question is still not answered, am I going to get my money back which I had to pay out of my own pocket because Discovery was unable to assist me in an emergency ?
Can a claim be submitted ? and how do I do so as the app does not allow me the option for claiming back after I paid out of my own.
