Efficient Service-Ganyane Metsing

I had an accident in December 2018, involving an unlicensed driver ********ly using my vehicle. When the claim was lodged with Discovery, we were informed that this would be an issue.

However after a few weeks of waiting the claim was brought before a review committee and I was informed that it would be processed as normal.

On the eve of the payout, the issue of the unlicensed driver and the adverse condition of one of the tyres on the vehicle were raised as concerns that would adversely affect the claim. My wife and I decided to escalate the matter and she contacted the Executive office where she spoke to Ganyane Metsing. Our complaint was that notwithstanding the issues that were being raised, the primary cause of the claim was that our vehicle was taken without permission that unfortunately ended with the reported accident.

Ganyane was quite friendly and understanding, taking the matter up, the issues raised were reversed within 24 hours. Within 48 hours, the claim was settled and my motor vehicle account cleared.

I would like to Thank Ganyane for the efficient manner with which she intervened and turned what could have been a complaint to a successful claim settlement. As a result, after purchasing a replacement vehicle, I was not hesitant to insure it with Discovery.
