EASY TO TAKE MONTHLY PREMIUMS BUT DIFFICULT TO CLAIM

I had to complete a very long inventory list for the household insurance of which obviously i had also added my cellphone and my daughters cell phone. Her cellphone does not have a sim card in as she only used it for games. They have ****** the phone out of my bag at the fleamarket 2 Saturdays ago. I could not provide DIscovery Insure with an Imei number. Today 2 March i have received a call from discovery insure telling me that they cannot put the claim through as it was not specified on my policy. I was under the impression that everything that is on the inventory list is specified. I was not correctly informed as the lady who phoned me said that to have it specified i will need to pay an extra amount on the monthly premium. This is really so disgusting and unfair. I though that i was at ease with the household insurance but clearly not. I have also just asked that should the phone have been ****** from my bedside table would it have been covered - she said no. I even asked that if my house burnt down would it be covered and she said no - so why am i paying this colossal amount of money per month for nothing?
