DQ Track Log Book Issues Finally Resolved
I have been going back and forth with multiple call centre agents to get the log book from my previous car that I traded in.

Initially I was told they were gone and I couldn't get them, until I raised the complaint that if they were touted as SARS compliant logs, that there should be a data retention policy covering the retention or deletion of these logs on trade in or sale of the vehicle, as the information needs to be available for 5 years if it's for tax purposes.

After many phone calls and complaints, I was eventually assisted by Lameez, who was fantastic in her service and within an hour I had the reports that I had been trying to get for months. It is her service that turned this from a complaint to a compliment.

I will say that Discovery Insure should review their data retention policy for DQ Track data and make this available to clients, and also, they should educate their call centre staff in the correct procedures to follow to track this information down for clients!

Thank you Lameez! I appreciate your efforts in this regard!
