Double digits annual increase

<p>I recieved my annual increase letter last week and my overall increase for the year is 12.23%. If i look at the individual items a vechile which has only been insured by you for 6 months went up 11% and my vehicle which has been with you since 2013 has gone up by 18% - never mind the fact that these vehices would have depreciated since the insurance was taken out.</p> <p> </p> <p>I called in and spoke to Ntombi who wasnt much assistance at all and manged to give me R56 discount on the R4044.69 new premium. This is an insult.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been with discovery for 4+ years and am apparently a VIP cuctomer as I have my medical, vitality, credit card, life policies and insurance with you - Is this how you handle all your loyal clients?</p> <p> </p> <p>Unless you rethink the increase and bring it in line with inflation I can guarentee you that I will be in the market to move my whole portfolio.</p> <p> </p> <p>FYI - you are already more expensive than other insurers and the fuel cash back per month is the only think that brings you in line with what i will pay elsewhere - so please do not even think of using that as an incentive. Ntombi already tried and failed dismally. </p>
