Don't waste your time here...

On the 1st of April I made a payment towards my insurance. Something in the back of my mind prompted me to check my online portfolio. I saw my RA there, but no insurance. Naturally this was concerning as I was paying for our household items, vehicle and home owners insurance monthly. I decided to send an email querying this. Low and behold my insurance was cancelled on the 1st of May 2024...read that again...2024. No communication, no notice, nothing. So they have been receiving my payments monthly and said absolutely nothing. I put up a fight with them as this is totally ludicrous as we were under the impression that we had insurance for a whole YEAR where we had nothing, but also, they were holding onto our money and not notifying us of it. Upon my query they confirmed that there was a refund due to me. Needless to say, I have been struggling now since the 8th of April to get this refund from them. They want to pay into the incorrect account, then they don't process it, then no one contacts me back etc. 3 WEEKS!!! This is after a useless broker hasn't been able to move insurances from Liberty and ABSA for us since July 2019 when we moved over to Discovery. This is a pathetic company and doesn't care about all their customers, maybe just the cash ***s.
