Don't use Discovery Insure

I had a burglary in December last year and followed all the steps to submit my claim. A few weeks later my claim consultant Nokuthula requested additional information and I responded that I would collect the required information over the next few days. She then advised me that she would close my claim while I get the requested information and reopen it once I submit it. Little did I know that it would be the start of a wild goose chase. I submitted the required documentation the very next day, but she did not reopen my claim. From that day onwards, she has not been taking my calls or replying to emails. When I call to follow up they promise to investigate the matter and refuse to connect me to a supervisor. I finally managed to speak to Manasseh who also promised to investigate

I really thought Discovery was a good insurer but they are nothing but ******* and *****. Don't give your money to them, they are very quick to debit your account but when it's time to provide the service they disappear, hiding behind an inefficient call centre.
