Don’t go with Discovery Insurance!!!

On the 25th of June 2024 i loaded our claim with Discovery via their app - Claim number ***. We had water on our roof downstairs in our kitchen. Our kitchen is under our bathroom, Discovery sent out plumbers to have a look where the leak is coming from. The plumbers came and the only to receive an email from them to inform us, that if the pipe has wear and tear its our problem. The claim is approved and they will go ahead. (We should maintain our water pipes inside the walls of our home.)Then the plumbers came back and didn’t open the wall and then said no they need to send someone else do the dye test. The second plumbers came and did the same leak test and no dye test. Then we received another email from Discovery rejecting our claim and said according to Ruwaan (who never spoke to us- we dont even know who this person is) and the conversation we had with him, the problem is with the warm water pipes and its our problem. No one knows which pipe is the problem. The wall is still not open up. We were then told no the claim is approved and the plumbers will “came the weekend”. No one came. Our roof is being destroyed by the water thats leaking into the walls. But Discovery doesn’t care. All they want is your money. Every claim is an issue with Discovery. A headache!!! The worst company to deal with every single time. They only want their monthly payment and do not want to assist their customers!
