Don't trust discovery insure

On Thursday I received a quote from colin at discovery insure for a premium of R1100 on my BMW. I told him i will take it but needed to cancel existing cover but I told him to call me at 4:15PM to instate cover. Never happened. I called on Friday to speak to someone else to take out the cover only to be told that the price was R1600 and that someone will call me back. NOBODY did!! So now after 9 calls to discovery and being told it was all approved and just has to be instated the call gets cut and I can't get a hold of them as it's out of hours. So now I have an uninsured vehicle. There's lies, lies and more lies. Going to the ombudsman for this one. My husband works for tele sure so I know my rights! I am beyond furious and to make matters worse, i have a credit card, medical aid and so much more with Discovery. Moral of the story... don't use them!!
