Does it never end? Another 20% increase from Discovery Insure AND a warranty insurance policy increase on a fixed price quote

Having already logged a review on Hello Peter for an excessive 20% 'one off' increase in my vehicle insurance premium in April because Discovery had the incorrect loss ratio (this was resolved), I now have to log another review as Discovery have increased my vehicle insurance by more than 20% again - and incorrectly increased my 'fixed price' vehicle warranty premium .

Firstly, my discovery renewal notice at the beginning of June (14th) notified me of another increase of more than 20% on my vehicle insurance policy, citing my frequency of claims as the reason for the increase. Discovery listed 2 repairs in November 2021. I agree with the repair on 18th November 2021 for R3302.50 at Renew-it, but the windscreen chip REPAIR done by Autoboys on the 22nd November 2021 was billed as R4263.05. When queried with Discovery I was told that this was the rate agreed with Autoboys, whether it was a repair or replacement. It is ridiculous that this amount was logged against my name for a simple chip repair.

In the same renewal notice, the 'fixed price' warranty insurance that I took out in April 2022 was also increased from 466.65 to 566.98 (after just 3 months) - which I also told Discovery was incorrect. The policy was sold to me as being fixed price until my car is either 10 years old (currently 6.5 yrs old) or the mileage exceeds 250000km (currently 90 000km).

Following a complaint to the ombudsman about the overcharging for the windscreen repair an updated policy document was very quickly loaded (24th June 2022) onto my Discovery profile, with next review date clearly stated as 01 August 2023 - with an adjusted amount for my vehicle insurance policy and the correct amount for my vehicle warranty insurance - Total R 1338.12

BUT, on the 1st August 2022, Discovery debited my account with the incorrect amount (R1592.22). A new policy document (quote - R1600.52) is now loaded on my profile, overwriting the previous document from 24th June 2022 (for 1338.12), stating I should let them know of any changes immediately.

I again called Discovery and explained the situation, but the agent could not assist. I followed up my call with an email, but Discovery has rejected my objection including the vehicle warranty insurance amount.

This ongoing battle with Discovery is exhausting!!!!

Reviewer Update
That is incorrect - the policy that was loaded on the 24th June (which I downloaded as proof as I expected this scenario to play out) replaced the anniversary review done at the beginning of June and clearly stated that my next review date was 01/08/2023, and that it replaced all previous schedules .

Discovery has still not responded to the warranty insurance policy that was taken out in April 2022 at a fixed rate for the term of the warranty.
