DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST!
Sadly, by the time you read this, you would already be regretting not doing your homework first before joining Discovery Insurance, right?! However, if you're one of the lucky "Discovery Free" ones, then take heed...be careful, be very careful... Customer service? Oh, what a joke.That's the number you dial to frustrate yourself wasting time, waiting...and waiting...and waiting. If you do get through, don't hold your breath getting help, or any kind of service. What happened to me? Survived a bad car crash early June...vehicle obviously written off. Took Discovery a month to get the wreck assessed...and only because I threatened to approach the Ombudsman. The assessment happened two weeks ago and surprise surprise...yes, a write off. Resolved? No! Still waiting...and waiting...this time in part due to their preferred courier, Aramex, lethargic service.
Be warned people...you're in for a terrible, terrible experience. Apparently, OUTSURANCE has less complaints?
