DISSATISFIED SERVICES BY DISCOVERY INSURER

On the 6th of July after 21pm, I was almost a victim of hijacking but as a protective person to life, I escaped but lost my vehicle. I was followed by unknown vehicle whilst driving my 7 seater to drop a friend. Due to being Durban July week I was mistaken to be Uber drivers that cashed in the long weekend but it wasn't. The vehicle followed us from between south coast and jacobs road with my son, cousin and colleague who visited a friend in my township. When entered direction towards bluff I then turned towards Caltex by booths without indicating to see their intension. He was noted by my colleague making a u turn to follow us. I then continued towards Tara Road as it's a straight and main road. When I got to Tara I excallerated to at least reach my colleague house for safety. On reaching the T Section I lost controll to speed and fear causing collision of vehicle to wall and gate of bluff residence. The vehicle was beyond damage and were casualties inclusive of myself. Son has fractured arm supported by steel rod, cousin 5 ribs and myself an arm. I reported to discovery after being hospitalized for 4 days. An assessor was sent down and I explained the whole story and even drove with him to accident area. I then requested a curtesy vehicle manuvor around as the process had lot of delays. They then started to phone witnesses that where with me ND later told me I was rejected due to high speed. Is life not that important to insurances more than possession. If I was gunned down and vehicle ****** would that be better. I joined discovery for 2 years after my last insurer of 10 years without claim. I regret making my change for poor service and believe it would have been different. I am so heartbroken and hope people have other thoughts in joining such *********** service of Discovery Insurer, holding its name as power but powerless in its work.
