Dispute on third party cover only_
My husband had car accident on 3 Nov 2015.I was not aware that my cover was downgraded to third party core because of the non-installation of the dq track device, as my premium didn't change for November 2015 and was for full cover (R2 151) paid on the 28th October 2015.Discovery sent me an email on the 1st October 2015 regarding the downgrade but I was only able to read my emails on the 17th November 2015 as it was on my junk mail. As the policy holder I was supposed to be informed telephonically that my policy will be downgraded if no dq track was installed. I have been covered by Discovery Insure all along and was not even aware that this is compulsory requirement for full cover. They contacted my husband and left voice messages but I was not aware that you were not getting hold of him. As far as the payment stands I am fully covered for the November month and therefore regard the downgrade as null and void. As the Discovery Insure client, I believe it is also your duty to make sure also verbally and agree with your clients when some of the actions would impact them severely. I am certainly not . Therefore I dispute the decision taken to reject my claim.
