Dishonest and *********** insurance

Firstly, terrible communication. Nothing is put in writing (deliberately) and they supposedly "cannot send emails". Everything is done verbally over the phone and afterwards you have no way of referring to what was said / discussed / presented to you. After eventually signing up, the consultant (Ashvir) completely disappeared after he "got the deal" and there was nobody to talk to when there were mistakes in the policy and payment issues except new call centre staff to whom I had to explain and somehow "prove" what had been discussed with the no longer available consultant. All emails to him were ignored and all promises to call me back were broken.

A year later my insurance premiums were hiked automatically despite the fact that the vehicle values were way less than a year prior. The value of my building was also increased for some unexplained reason without my authorisation or permission. When I phoned to adjust the vehicle value and get a reduction in the premium it was on the verge of impossible with a variety of excuses changing each and every time I called. What should have taken 10 minutes took about 3 weeks after 20-30 phone calls. In the end my premium was reduced marginally and was even higher than the previous year, despite the fact that the car value dropped more than 30%.
