disgusting service shows mistrust

i suffered a theft of my portable possessions on the5th jan whilst on the beach, i contacted discovery immediatly to lodge a claim, the service i have had is beyond disgusting, i dealt with a claims advisor MOIPONE , WHO FROM DAY ONE HAS NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS OR EMAILS,my claim was then refered to a specialist Candice pillay who has had even worse of an customer services approach, she called me on a tuesday asking me about the claim and the details,asking me how i paid for the items , i told hetr i bought the item [glasses] cash,the following day she emails asking me for my bank statements to reflect the companies name as to where i purchased the glasses from,,SO I REP**** I BOUGHT THEM CASH.

i am myself in the insurance industry for the past 15 years, and i know that asking me to provide bank statements is COMPLETELY *********, also the fact that im asked again to provide proof of purchase reflecting companies name as to where i bought the glasses, after telling her it was cash, SHOWS ME THE COMPLETE DISTRUST discovery has with there clients, insurance is purchased on good faith between insurer and client, COMPLETELY DISGUSTED,

IVE WAITED ALMOST 3 WEEKS STILL WITH NO FEEDBACK EVEN AFTER PROVIDING PROOF OF OWNERSHIP FOR THE ITEMS.

i emailed a letter to Candice , stating my dissapointment last week thursday, AS OF today she has not had the decency to reply too my message , extremelly DISSAPOINTED.

i will certainly escalate this further to all social media if discovery again fails to communicate with me.
