Disgruntled client, pathetic use of common sense
Disgruntled client. We have been loyal clients with Discovery and they refuse to pay a claim based on wordplay and semantics. We have a Pen display tablet, that cannot work seperate from a coputer i.e., it is a drawing tablet for graphic artists and designers. Therfore not an androind or apple ipad. They consider thembthe same and declined our claim. This is a work tool, a comouter item such as a laptop as it cannot work independently. It will cost R30k to replace. They refuse. What a dissapointment. Finding loopholes is their thing.

04 Jul 2023, 08:56As per my review and also details given to my broker, this device is not portable, it is a plug in screen that you can write on. It does not work independently from a computer or laptop. If you need a technical IT review of the item, please let me know as I find that you are making use of a loophole. The reason I am stating this is that a computer screen or a laptop would have been covered. The pen display cannot work independently of a laptop. It is a hardware input device.
