Discovery. Won't pay

Good day I had a shower pipe burst in my bathroom. I phoned discovery emergency num. They sent out a plumber to shut off the water and blank off my shower pipes. The next day they sent a different plumber. When I queried it they said the 1st plumber was just on for emergency. Long story short . Discovery now say the pipes bust because of wear and tear . The pipes are behind the tiles in my bathroom so how must I check if they are about to burst. The same thing happened to my swimming pool pipes which they also don't cover because it's wear and tear. What are the next steps I can take
