Discovery will repair rather than replace and give you headaches

I was insured with Discovery Insure through my broker Kaiser Baird and my wife had an accident with our vehicle in 2018 and Discovery authorised BMW SMG panelbeaters to repair the vehicle,the mag wheel and front bumper was damaged,Discovery wanted the mag wheel repaired instead of replaced and after it was repaired I have been having problems every year since then where the mag wheel paint peels off and looks very bad.I contacted SMG recently when this occurred once again and they say that the insurance should have replaced this mag wheel as it is laser cut and the more you repair it it will get damaged.Insurance is meant to put you back in the position you were before the loss,but Discovery is now causing prejudice to me,if they replaced the mag wheel I would not have had this issue.I changed insurer's as Discovery is the worst insurance they do things to save money and we as clients are prejudiced.Glad I left them.
