Discovery useless with follow up

Insurance claim was approved, it took over a month to fix my vehicle. I paid the excess yesterday. Got my vehicle back after that. So I phoned the company of the truck that sc****d the side of my car that caused over R70000 damage. He hasnt heard a word of the accident. Discovery had told us that they will arrange with the truck's insurance to get the excess from them. They havent even phoned the company who the truck belongs too!! Accident happened on 7 September, I got my vehicle back on 26th October. How useless is Discovery!!???
