Discovery Ucovered Over promises and under delivers.

Absolute worst insurer ever. Discovery wants to pay 40% of my vehicle claim. Because they received quotes based on pictures taken by an assessor. Don't believe the promises they make when harassing you to sign up. I was promised I could use a repairer of my choice I even told them which repairer I would use and the sales consultant was completely on-board. My policy has a zero excess clause. Surprise Surprise of a R39 000 quote they only willing to pay R16500.00. My excess with my previous insurer was 7000 but they accepted the quote with out a hassle. So disappointing that I left them for Discovery to be treated so badly. From the arrogance of the claims agents to the many different people dealing with my claim all-round unhappy experience.
