Discovery refuses to pay for accident damages

I had a small accident with my car. After this accident the car did not go into gear. Discovery Refuses to pay for this.They only pay for the cosmetic damages to the car. Now I ask then why do I have Insurance if they refuses to pay for accident damages?<br> <br> I wrote regarding this on Hello Peter on the 14th of December 2015 and got a reply back within a couple of Hours that they will get back tome the Thursday. Nobody got back to me regarding this at all.<br> <br> Further more I spoke to Mercedes regarding the report that they send, on their report they stated it was not accident damage. I then asked the question: How can this not be accident damage, the car was fine before the accident but afterwards it could not change gears????<br> <br> The people at Mercedes then stated that they can not be 100%sure that it is not accident related. <br> <br> The part that got damaged is Electronic. I also spoke to the assessor working with my case from Discovery and and he was really rude and refuses to listen to me as client.<br> <br> Can someone please assist me with this
