Discovery or Disappointment?

I don't know where to start, I moved from one of the biggest car insurance providers to Discovery thinking it is a smart move, but, things are really frustrating. First, when I accepted the quote, I only provided my ID number, yet, I found-out that my insurance policy was quoted under my old passport number (don't know how it even ended up there since I provided my ID number during the quote process?). It took their team nearly 10 days to fix it (even the one who supposes to help missed an important step - as per one of the Disc staff that I called later. Had to call them >x6 times for this to be fixed. Next, and as my ID was finally corrected and captured under my policy, I found-out that I can't log in to Insure App since every OTP I received didn't work. Had to call again, and someone helped with that. Happy ending? No, now I can see both my email address and cell number (partially censored) re INCORRECT. An email missing a letter and cell number wrong last digit? Called again, and nothing? I simply wasted my airtime with almost 8-9 calls for a policy that didn't even start yet? Is this the TECH standard that Discovery is providing?.

I am speechless and can guarantee this policy will never last long should the hiccup continue.

Dear Discovery Insure, just to add more drama, you kept sending SMS's regarding my policy to my daughter's number, a cell number that's not listed on your system, nor used by me. I only delivered this today since such a message was received by my daughter today. Can you explain this and add to my [above] list of concerns? You guys really discriminatory, *********, and unpleasant experience. Remedy your system as I am reaching a boiling point. This experience [in case of no asap solution] will be shared with all my healthcare colleagues and patients as a warning flag, at least I can minimize/prevent the collateral damage. Enough is enough - over 20+ calls that wasted 100s of rands airtime values of my hard-earned income over basic demographic info. You are the true meaning of "All that glitters is not gold". Good luck.
