Discovery Load shedding claims being rejected as wear and tear.

A claim was submitted to discovery after my pc failed to start up after the last round of load shedding, according to Discovery the machine failed due to wear and tear and they claim that the pc is more than 10Years old. The machine was purchased roughly 4 years ago and is fitted with GTX1080TI (Which was only released in March 2017). I managed to check who their assessors are and gave them a call, According to the lady I spoke to there, They never state how old machines are as they aren't able to guess or know when exactly it was built or purchased. Something is going on here..
