Discovery is ranking to be top of the worst insurance companies

Try and complain to Discovery or through Hallo Peter...no one can help...and Discovery just keep on with bad customer service and no following up on your problem...just empty promises and a fruitless battle for months now. Below is the same old complaint I posted on Hello Peter months ago....they just printed a sorry not and that was it....

I have a claim that is lingering now already from January 2022. Numerous times tried to solve this; every time just promises but no action. From January I had an accident on the N3. My vehicle was taken to Pine Town area at an auction yard for keeping until the sump could be repaired. I was stranded with all my suitcases and belongings. They told me I had to go and get my curtesy vehicle at Durban, but I had no way of getting there. When I asked to send the car to me, they rep**** there is no vehicle available near me. I had to phone a friend to help me. The next day I was in Durban and received my curtesy vehicle where I went back to the area where I was on vacation. After numerous failed attempts to get information regarding my vehicle, due to the fact that I had to get home to work...I phoned the auction yard to deliver my vehicle, they could not find my car...it was missing. I then tried to phone Discovery, no one came back to me, I tracked and found it at Durban Panel beaters. When again after a day or two no one contacted me, I got through to yet another different Discovery person, I demanded due to lack in response and help for the claim to be paid out...The vehicle was brought to Margate VW to be repaired...it only arrived 20h30 the evening. The following morning, we could see numerous secondary damages to my vehicle body. It has been months now and still Discovery hasn't even sent out the assessors. I try to get hold of the lady they transferred to me to handle my case....no response on emails, and she does not pick up her phone
