Discovery insure wont pay for damage battery caused by their C-track device

I've been having a problem with battery running flat although I have been driving back and forth from joburg to Pretoria. The situation got worse because of the lockdown where couldnt drive for long distances. So I took the car to the delearship to investigate what's the source of the problem. Dealership and C-Track (company that Discovery outsources the tracking device to) both found that the device was causing my car battery to drain and they adviced that a new battery needs to be installed and the maintenenace wouldn't cover it as the C-Track device was a 3rd party device. C-Track's technician informed the dealership that the battery in their tracking device was blown up and was drawing power directly from my cars battery. Discovery has now informed me that they and C-Track are not liable for any of the damaged that they caused to my vehicle which is unacceptable taking into account that it was their device caused the faulty battery. I now I have to pay almost 10k to replace the battery. I am truely disgussted by Discovery's service as I had to keep phoning them for feedback even though I was assured that they would keep me informed. Discovery put me in a difficult situation whereby this issue was caused by their device and they dont want to own up to their mistake.
