Discovery Insure. What a world class experience. I cannot give a higher recommendation!

I had a distressing incident at home. My electrical backup system and my swimming pool motor were struck by lightning on 16 th December just as I and all contractors were starting our Xmas holiday and Eskimo started their extended load shedding. I was faced with a holiday at home(lockdown just announced) without electricity and a swimming pool which was probably going to be unusable! Then the dark cloud changed when Clint Joseph from Discovery Insure was appointed to handle my claim. Expecting an uphill battle as so many people had brainwashed me about how horrible it is to deal with insurance companies I was pleasantly surprised to see how incredibly Clint looked after me. He went really far beyond the ‘extra mile’ researching the internet to find suppliers who were not already closed. He understood that to to wait 3 or 4 weeks to have repairs done was not an answer! He followed up very regularly and phoned his progress regularly. He was really encouraging and sympathetically helpful right to the end when my challenge was solved. If this is representative of Discovery Insure and the type of person employed then I am thrilled to be with them. I’m also so happy that my broker talked me into Discovery and it’s many product. My advice to potential customers is move now and don’t wait until you are faced with a disappointment from another company to move when it’s too late. Thank you Clint and Discovery!
