Discovery Insure using subcontractors to tow vehicles - Discovery Insure unacceptable handling of issues

On 28 December whilst travelling from Phalaborwa to Tzaneen a Guinee Fowl flew into the grill of my wifes car. We stopped accessed the situation and contacted our Broker to register a claim. On the 4th of January the claim was approved it was detailed as replace grill, condensor, radiator and align the bonnet. On the 13th of January we where advised that Lunga from Optimum Insleepdiens would uplift the car from our residence as we had been advised by Discovery that the motor vehicle cannot be driven because of radiator damage. Lunga advised that a rollback from a well known towing company would uplift the vehicle. Then a guy from Motato towing with a SUV and trailer arrived to collect the vehicle. He was totally unprofessional in every aspect. He asked my wife what we paid on insurance every month and how does the insurance work (this has nothing to do with him) my wife stopped the car in front of the trailer and he proceeded to drive it onto the trailer. he gunned the engine hard as the electric handbrake was on. He then spun the car in an attempt to load it as his winch was unable to winch the small SUV onto the trailer. When he got the vehicle onto the trailer he drove it straight into the front of the trailer at this stage my wife was not present but my neighbors CCV TV coverage covered the entire fracas. The vehicle was delivered to the approved repairer later that afternoon. The next day having an uneasy feeling I went to the panel shop and wo and behold saw the damage to the front of the vehicle the estimate repair on the panel damage caused by the Discovery appointed contractor was R 10 000.00 ... my broker who happens to be a personal friend as well as the panel shop personal have been trying for 2 weeks to get this issue sorted with Discovery Insure with zero feedback. The vehicle is brand new only has 4000Km on the odometer. To add to the frustration the accessor then requested (despite the claim having been approved on 4 January) that the vehicle be stripped to verify that the radiator needed to be replaced despite there being visual evidence of the damaged radiator, this delayed the repair process by a couple of days and repairs only got underway some several days later. I have attempted to contact the Discovery Appointed towing contractor he does not take my calls. by broker has spent many many hours on the phone trying to sort this out with Discovery Insure as well as the repair shop and nothing is being achieved.

Maybe the CEO of Discovery Insure needs to give me a call so we can sort this unacceptable handling of this claim by Discovery Insure itself, my number is *** ... the claim number is ***
