Discovery Insure uses ********** photo to avoid paying claim!

Completely dissapointed and disgusted in Discovery Insure!! After being in accident in November last year, and waiting 4,5 months for my car to be repaired, it still came back faulty with faulty boot shocks. This was immediately pointed out to the body shop who then submitted another claim to Discovery. After 2 weeks of constant following up, I was told by Discovery that the claim was rejected by the assessor due to it being from wear and tear. After asking them for proof of this, I was emailed a ********** photo by Discovery that was sent to them from the assessor. The assessor claims as per the photo that the boot is standing open on it own during the assessment of the vehicle and therefore the boot shocks couldn’t have been damaged during the accident. I immediately point out to discovery that the photo is ********** as this photo was taken by myself and the guy at the body shop and I, in fact am holding the boot open whilst the photo is being taken! I also tell discovery this photo was taken 4 months AFTER the accident and not on the date of assessment. It was taken the day after I took delivery of the vehicle. False evidence was supp**** to Discovery by the assessor and I have witnesses from the body shop of when and how the photo was taken. Yet despite all the factual evidence presented to Discovery of the false evidence, they still back the assessor and refuse to replace the boot shocks which were damaged in the accident!! DO NOT USE DISCOVERY INSURE!! They use ********** evidence from assessors in order to avoid paying out claims. I have never once claimed from my insurance in 3 years and when you need to rely more on your insurance , they avoid paying claims using false evidence! Will never recommend them to anyone. ********** assessor who never even once saw my car in person: Netassess in JHB. Just as guilty!
