Discovery Insure useless
We decided to sell our car and took the time to call Discovery Insure to find out the procedure for the tracker removal, both myself and my daughter called separately and we were both told the following: When your car has been sold you will contact us and then give us the new owners details and then we will lease with them to have the tracker removed. The morning after we sold the car I called to cancel the insurance and gave the details to the call center agent who while I was on hold contacted the new buyer, the agent came back to me and said the new buyers husband asked that he call back later (it was actually her boyfriend as she is not married). Since then I have been sent 2 emails with the latest email threatening me that I will have to pay R1180 should they not recover the tracker and its my responsibility to make sure they recover the device. Have they even tried to call the person back? why not have the tracker removed before sale handover? no just threats!! disgusting AND Vinesan Phillip is, SURPRISE, never in to take the call but has his name signed on the letters email.
Thank you for taking our call.
