Discovery Insure - Terrible service
Terrible service. My car was booked in at Renew-It Rivonia for minor damages to side bumper. ETA was 10 to 15 days. Car was kept for 5 weeks and even on second inspection, still was not repaired properly. Poor workmanship. Contacted Discovery Insure (Nkateko/Annelize) many times for assistance as my car hire had expired with the constant delays from Renew-It, expecting them to intervene as it was their service provider. No response. I ended up forfeiting my deposit of R2000 to Avis and having to pay them an additional fee to cover extended car hire still carrying over the damages that was not fixed as Discovery did not step in to rectify the situation upfront. Discover Insure is useless. Will be reconsidering in 2025.
