Discovery Insure terrible experience. They dont even deserve one star

This is the absolute worst insurance company to claim from as a third party. about 6 weeks ago someone drove into me and my car had some damage to the boot and bumper. My boot is not able to open as a result of the accident. My car was assessed on 1 Nov and all documentation sent on 4 Nov. My claim was handed over to Themba Mkhabella who didn't bother to respond to my emails and kept asking me to send through documentation which had already been sent. The claim has been resolved after fighting with them for over a month but I am now having to wait 8 days for a payout. I have no access to my boot and I had been planning to go away December on a road trip with my car. With no access to the boot of my car I am having to cancel my trip. The workshops are closing soon and it would take a week to fix my car. This is totally unacceptable and the fact that Discovery Insure couldn't be bothered to do their jobs makes me wonder why anyone would sign up with them.

Being a single parent of a toddler I have to cart about a pram and other bags all the time and with no access to my boot it is a challenge.

I will definitely warn everyone I know not to sign up with discovery and thank heavens I don't have any of their products!
