Discovery Insure / Telegenics - handing out my phone number

I receive numerous calls per day from different companies (Blue Mercury was the last one), claiming that they are representing Discovery Insure. They state that they get numbers from Telegenics. The strange thing is that I am already a Discovery insure client. Somehow it seems to me that Discovery does not know their clients?
