Discovery Insure sensor malfunction.

The Discovery Insure sensor has serious malfunction. The number of uncovered trips and trips registered as "does not qualify" is ridiculous. The deduction of points for "harsh" breaking and cornering gives me heart burn. Am I supposed to drive into a car where the driver decides to cut infront of me? I should just let an accident happen? Should I dare use the navigator, I get points deducted for phone usage!! What is this?! I don't know how many times I have logged queries for someone to contact me and make all this make sense but nooooo, consultants are just grasping at straws. Will this sensor thing affect a claim in future (God forbid)? Nothing else is contributing to my urges to leave Discovery Insure but this malfunctioning sensor.
