Discovery Insure - Rewards You....Not!!!!!!

Discovery Vitality Drive claims to reward you up to 50% of your fuel spend but having being a member of the programme I beg to differ. My experience with Discovery has been nothing short of pathetic and hence I feel that I need to share this with others that are considering them. In May 2019, I decided to cancel my insurance and provided notice to Discovery which was acknowledged. I had opted for the discovery drive benefit with an Excess funder account that ensured which "parked" my monthly fuel rewards and doubled it for future use in the event that I required it to cover my excess. Upon cancelation, of the policy, I was made to believe that I would receive this amount back. This was only after the discover DQ track was removed from my vehicle. After the removal, I contacted discovery and was advised that finance will process this for me. Its been more than 2 months and despite my calls to Discovery, I have not received a response. I am beginning to wonder if this was all smoke and mirrors because to date no one at Discovery can assist with my payment. I am truly disappointed and will never refer anyone to Discovery Insure!!
