Discovery Insure - rather ANY other insurer

Their assessor ducked and dived all reason You as homeowner is responsible for everything in your house done by ANY contractor, ie electrician, plumber, builder. They take no responsibility if any existing anything in your house gets damaged or breaks or whatever. You as homeowner takes full responsibility for all work done by other professionals. The assessor I am sure is incentivized to decline any claims (I might be wrong) but that is my personal feeling. They do not answer mails and promise feedback, but trying to get a claim form takes more than 2 weeks and more than 3 mails.

You will see in the new claim that I have proof of water damage in the said room that you disputed, but of which I have photographic as well as video proof.
I suggest that you send a more competent or senior assessor to look at the merits of the claim that will be logged.

I am not amenable to your ducking and diving from legitimate claims.

I will be available at 16:00 today to do the claim via telephone, but not with the person that phoned me this morning as there is no trust from my side that I will be adequately assisted.

One of your senior managers should contact me.

How difficult would it have been to just tell me you don’t have claim forms?

Well the good thing for me is that the water damage after this weekend is now very obvious in the room you say there was none and not amenable to challenge, so at least one good thing for me that came from your non response to my mails.

I wonder what else you hide from clients
