Discovery insure premium ibcrease

After receiving an email about my premium increasing I phoned Discovery Insure. Unfortunately the call centre agent was utterly unhelpful and as such I wanted to cancel my premium. My problem with this premium increase was that I bought a new car in December and my premium increased because of that, why then increase it again 6 months later? I was put through to Shamanie Naidoo who solved the issue for me quite effectively, and my premium has stayed the same. I still wonder why my premium should increase as my car value decrases and insurance as such gives literally no other benefit except in a situation where you might need it, otherwise it is just money I debit once a month.
