Discovery Insure placing Profit over individual well being, Passing off inferior quality for profit

My wife recently had a cricket ball hit into her windscreen at a cricket match, she subsequently filed for a claim only to be advised that the replacement windscreen would not be the same one as the VW Manufacturers standard and only a cheaper non shatterproof windscreen would be authorized.

The fact of the matter is that if a non shatterproof windscreen was fitted the cricket ball would have gone through the windscreen and hit my wife in the face with a strong probability that she may have been blinded.

I requested that the matter be escalated to the Discovery Insures advisor to his Team leader who stated that if we wanted the shatterproof option we would need to pay in the difference, this is ********* and irresponsible behavior I am working in Madagascar and have requested that this matter be escalated to a Senior Manager and for them to call me in Madagascar as I do not accept the decision. And will certainly not accept inferior products and inso doing placing my family's well being at certain known risk in order for a Major and supposed reputable Company to gain profits.
